About James

James has spent 12 years working in Technology across multiple industries including Education, Professional Services, Financial Services, M&A and Insurance.

He’s now been in the Information Security space for over 6 years and currently is the Head of Cyber Security at Education First, having moved from KPMG. His areas of specialisation include Security Strategy, Cloud Security, Incident Management, Security Awareness and Culture, Risk Management and Technical Security Training. He is also the 2019 recipient of the ISLA EMEA award in the category of Senior Information Security Professional.

As the Chapter President of the (ISC)2 London Chapter; his aim is to drive the Chapter towards taking action to address problems we face as an industry and society as a force for good.  He is a huge advocate for breaking down the barriers around the Cyber Profession; changing the perception that information security is everyone’s responsibility and everyone can and must play a part.
